Why you’ll love it

Got What It Bakes? offers something for everyone: cheerful fun for families, meaningful choices for gamers, and a rewarding challenge for solo players.

While the dice sets the stage, your decisions shape the outcome — from choosing ingredients to managing time and upgrades. Each recipe card shows a pastry on the front and ingredients on the back, turning every round into a fresh puzzle.

No two games are ever the same. Shifting goals, upgrades, and recipe variety keep it engaging from start to finish — full of strategy, laughter, and irresistible ‘just one more round’ moments.

Beyond fun, the game also nurtures logical thinking, time management, and teamwork — all without ever losing its playful charm.

Marianna Béres — primary school teacher, lifelong gamer, and the original dreamer behind Got What It Bakes?
I spend my days surrounded by children, whose curiosity constantly inspires me. I rediscovered modern board games in 2019, and they quickly became a passion. Besides teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, caring for exotic plants, and exploring video games.
My love for baking naturally found its way into game design. That spark became Got What It Bakes? — a family game that blends the joy of play with the joy of creating something delicious.

For me, game design means bringing together art, storytelling and playful learning. I focus on the visual world and atmosphere of our games, shaping artwork and components so they are both clear and immersive. What began as a creative experiment has grown into a project that connects people through play.
